  • Re: Publish to PDF Bitmap feature

I think it would be handy. Try to print the file to a PDF Printer, and enable the 'Rasterize the entire page (DPI)' option, see the attached image.
  • Shrinking PDFs to smaller file sizes

Hi, In addition to myself, my company also has hires a 3rd party design team from time to time to do graphics. I tend to get a lot of requests from people to shrink down their PDFs, which are high resolution for print and are often quite large and image intensive, so that they can be easily sent via...

  • Re: CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5?

When you make a PDF from CorelDraw X4 it does not matter whether another machine has Acrobat Reader version 8, 6 or 4 on it. You will be able to read and print that PDF from any version. Why not include in Corel some functionality that will allow CorelDraw 12 to open X3 or X4 documents. It is frustrating...

  • Re: Low-res bitmaps – why?

In the attached image, a 200 dpi bitmap was placed inside a circle which has a Drop Shadow in CorelDRAW X3 SP2, then published to PDF. In all the experimentations, CorelDRAW Rendering Resolution was 300 dpi CorelDRAW Page Resolution was 96 dpi (no effect on the results). No bitmap downsampling in the...

  • Re: Corel 12 and PDF files

I believe - I've got it! If the PDF document was produced with the 1.7 version, then he will be with an older version of Corel Draw not open. More: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Document_Format#Versions Particularly bad if the Corel Draw while saving no clear listing of PDF versions (such...

  • Need Assistance with Publish to PDF...

I am no expert w/ CorelDraw, but I don't consider myself a begginer. The same applies with Design software.
