1. Adjust your recognition settings
Before you start sketching, use the property bar to decide how closely you want your final shape to match your original sketch and how smooth you want the resulting curves to be.
You can also set the line width and style so they’ll apply automatically.
2. Start sketching
Draw your rough shape and SmartDrawing will clean it up as you go.
- Hold Shift and drag backwards if you need to erase as you draw
3. Style your shapes as you go
Tap the Tab key to jump from shape to shape. This way, you can quickly add fills or outline colors without switching tools.
4. Turn shapes into containers
Click inside a shape with the Text tool to turn it into a text container. You can also drag an image into a closed shape to turn the shape into a PowerClip frame.
